Here is my finished edited image that I am going to be using for my film magazine cover. As you can see I have used the main image of the doll and added the overlay/texture on it by using Photoshop, the overall effect has made the main image look more creepy and scary looking; you can tell it’s not a pleasant thing; I was hoping to achieve this as my overall idea is on horror and wanting to create fear within the audience. When editing the overall image I used Photoshop to change the lighting of the image; I created more shadows and dulled the bright colours down to give an impression of death and fear, I also wanted the doll to show up more through the texture so again I changed the ‘levels’ of the image and it produced this end effect; which I’m happy with, I believe that this ending effect has made the image look professional, creepy and gives off a terror atmosphere.
