Main Image

I am going to use this photo as my main image as it is a main prop from the teaser trailer, by doing this people will connect each other together and so they will be able to remember the film easily, meaning more profit for the film.  The camera shot has been made so you can see the detail on the dolls face and clothing, meaning it will be interesting to look at the image, plus as the doll has that old fashioned vibe to it, it will link into the horror genre as it looks creepy.  The angle is eye view so it looks as though the doll/ prop is staring at the audience and hopefully this will create the vibe of tension and fear.

Overlay/ Background

I will use this texture as it will create an old and rusty look to the overall image; it will also create depth in the picture by creating more shadows and dulling any bright colours that are not needed.  This texture will blend into the main image and make the overall image look professional and creepy as it looks unique and creates fear within the audience; overall it will link the image into the genre of my overall trailer and media idea; horror.
