Film Poster Editing - Finished Image

Here is my edited image that I am going to use to put on my film poster. As you can see I have edited the skull onto the characters face then to smooth everything out I have edited a background and overlay on top of the characters face. I believe it has created a creepy and ‘horror’ type look to the overall image, which I was hoping to achieve as my overall idea is on horror and wanting to create fear within the audience. When editing the overall image I used Photoshop to change the lighting of the image; I created more shadows and dulled the bright colours down to give an impression of death and fear, however I also wanted the image to look professional so I created some highlights around the skull parts to show a sense of 3-D to the audience, this is so the poster looks unique and edited well.
